In February of 2017, I, a first-year board member of the PCC, sneakily approached the current president, Kevin Hannigan. I said, "Kevin, tell me about the PCC TEDx Talk event on March 26th." He replied nothing was planned and they were considering canceling it. I offered to take ownership of the event, and Timeless was born!
This event was crafted carefully from scratch - the concept, design, nominations, talk development, practice and event planning. It's invigorating to see your ideas come to life!
Three secrets to every good event?
- Background music - happy white noise
- Delicious food - be thoughtful
- Have fun - it's infectious
The event was successful beyond my wildest hopes. I'm extremely excited to reproduce the effort this Fall 2017 and Spring 2018.
